Start With What You're Actually Hauling
Before choosing a trailer, you need three things:
- The approximate weight of what you're hauling
- Its length and width
- How you plan to load it
“It should fit” is not an actual measurement.
You also need to make sure your truck can safely tow the trailer after it is loaded—not just the empty trailer. Check your truck's towing capacity, payload limits, hitch rating, and owner's manual before making a reservation.

The 20-Foot Utility Trailer: The All-Around Workhorse
Our 20-foot utility trailer is one of the most versatile trailers in the fleet.

This is a solid choice when you need an open trailer with plenty of usable deck space. It is especially convenient for loading equipment that you need to access from different sides.
Taking the bikes out toward Perris Raceway? Cleaning up a property near the Wildomar side of the Santa Rosa Plateau? Moving equipment between jobs? This is usually a good place to start.
It also comes equipped with a winch, which can make loading non-running equipment or vehicles a whole lot easier.
The 20-Foot Car Hauler: Not Just for Cars
The name is pretty self-explanatory, but our car hauler handles more than cars.
It is commonly used for:

- Classic vehicles
- Trucks
- Side-by-sides
- ATVs
- Other wheeled equipment
The full-width deck and drive-over fenders make it easier to load wider vehicles than you could on a standard trailer.
Maybe you're bringing home a new project, picking up a vehicle that decided it was done running, or getting a classic car ready for the Temecula Rod Run. Either way, measure the vehicle first—especially if it is lowered, unusually wide, or has a long front end.

The Enclosed Trailer: When You Want Everything Protected
An enclosed trailer is usually the best option when your load needs to stay protected, secure, and out of the weather.
Our enclosed trailers are commonly rented for:

- Event supplies
- Business inventory
- Longer-distance trips
- Cars and recreational vehicles that fit within the interior dimensions
They are equipped with E-track, giving you plenty of options for securing cargo properly.
An enclosed trailer is also nice when you're hauling a mixture of items and don't want to spend the entire drive watching everything in the mirror. Whether you're moving across town, hauling gear to an event, or packing up for a weekend near Ocotillo Wells, your cargo stays contained and protected.
Just remember that the outside of an enclosed trailer may look huge while the rear-door opening and interior measurements tell the real story. Always measure the tallest and widest part of what you plan to load.
The 26-Foot Deckover Tilt Trailer: Built for Containers and Bigger Jobs
Our deckover tilt trailers are the heavy hitters.
These are especially useful for:
- Shipping containers
- Skid steers and compact equipment
- Wide vehicles
- Heavy machinery
- Long or unusually shaped loads
- Commercial and property projects
A deckover trailer has the deck positioned above the wheels, which means there are no fenders taking up loading space. The hydraulic tilt deck also eliminates the need to line everything up with a set of traditional ramps.
We see these used most often for moving shipping containers onto properties and jobsites. They are also a good option when the load is too wide, long, or awkward for a regular car hauler.
These trailers have serious capacity, but that also means your tow vehicle and hitch setup need to be up to the job. This is not the trailer to rent based on a guess and a confident thumbs-up from your buddy.
Don't Forget the Tow Setup
Choosing the trailer is only half of it.
Our trailers use a 2‑5/16-inch ball and electric brakes. Your vehicle needs the proper hitch setup, a working 7-way connection, and a brake controller.
Before leaving, always check:
- The coupler is fully locked
- Safety chains are connected correctly
- The electrical plug is secure
- Trailer lights are working
- The breakaway cable is attached
- Your load is properly tied down
- The trailer jack is completely raised
We inspect and maintain our trailers, but the driver is still responsible for making sure the entire truck, trailer, and load combination is safe before heading out.
